The parts manager strives to return a satisfactory profit on dealer capital invested in parts inventory. They accomplish objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying, wholesale, and advertising. Day to day responsibilities of the manager is: Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them. Maintains a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop, wholesale accounts, and the do-it-yourself customer. Strive for harmony and teamwork with all other departments. Ensures that parts inventory turns. Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence. Supervises stock order procedures. Sets and enforces a policy on the special ordering or parts. Analyzes sales, expenses and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals. Assists in the collection of past due accounts.

Qualifications:

Dealership experience Organized and detailed Parts experience with both wholesale and retail Past leadership rolls Punctuality in reporting to work Dealertrack DMS experience a bonus Teamwork focused

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year.
