In this vital role, you will oversee inventory control, procurement, and distribution processes to ensure seamless operations across our supply chain. Your leadership will drive efficiency, optimize warehouse management, and enhance customer satisfaction through effective parts management. Responsibilities Manage the entire parts inventory lifecycle, including procurement, storage, and distribution to meet operational demands. Oversee warehouse operations such as shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, picking & packing, and materials handling to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Utilize transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP platforms like AS400 to monitor stock levels, process orders, and analyze supply chain data. Coordinate with logistics providers, including freight carriers and 3PL partners, to optimize transportation planning, freight costs, and delivery schedules. Implement process improvements in inventory control, category management, and warehouse workflows to boost efficiency and reduce costs. Lead sourcing initiatives for parts procurement, negotiate pricing agreements, and manage supplier relationships to secure quality materials at competitive prices. Supervise warehouse staff involved in dispatching, order picking, packing, shipping & receiving, forklift operation, and materials management. Requirements Proven experience in supply chain management with a strong focus on inventory management and warehouse distribution. Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or equivalent platforms. Knowledge of procurement processes, demand planning, category management, and logistics operations including freight and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier). Strong data analysis skills to interpret supply chain analytics for continuous process improvement. Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
