Parts Manager

Epic Motorsports is looking for someone who is enthusiastic about the industry. The individual should want to help our customers find the right products for their ride and enjoy both the opportunity to socially interact with our customers, as well as sell them products that will enhance their riding experiences. The Parts Managers enthusiasm should spill over into the store and energize both the customers and their coworkers. You must be an individual who has energy for the job. It requires being on your feet all day, shipping, receiving, lifting over 40lbs, unloading, organizing, helping in service, checking customers out, selling product, ordering, creating purchase orders, and communicating with both customers and coworkers. We expect our team to help where ever they are needed and enjoy spending time with each other, since we are around each other sometimes more then we are around our family and friends.

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Manager to join our team. As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of atv and utv parts. This is a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Duties:

• Manage and maintain inventory of automotive parts, ensuring accuracy and availability
• Collaborate with suppliers to procure necessary parts and negotiate pricing
• Monitor and track parts orders, ensuring timely delivery
• Coordinate with technicians and service advisors to ensure proper parts are ordered for repairs and maintenance
• Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures
• Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the parts department
• Train and supervise parts department staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Utilize data entry systems to accurately record inventory transactions

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in automotive parts management or related field
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and terminology
• Familiarity with auto body repair processes is a plus
• Excellent procurement skills, including the ability to negotiate pricing and build relationships with suppliers
• Proficient in supply chain management principles and practices
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in data entry and inventory management systems
