The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality pastries and other baked items while ensuring adherence to food safety standards. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, muffins, scones croissants, pies, quick breads, and other baked goods according to established recipes. Measure and mix ingredients accurately to ensure consistency in product quality. Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results. Package finished products for sale or distribution while maintaining presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation practices throughout the baking process. Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet catering orders and customer requests efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing inquiries about baked goods. Requirements Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Knowledge of culinary techniques related to baking and pastry preparation. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
