Overview We are seeking a passionate and talented Pastry Chef and sous chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties Prepare a wide variety of pastries, cakes, tarts, and desserts with attention to detail and quality standards Decorate cakes and pastries using advanced cake decorating techniques to create visually stunning products Manage food production processes efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of all baked goods Package baked items attractively for retail display or catering orders, maintaining presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and food safety protocols in accordance with industry regulations Assist in food preparation for special events, catering, and restaurant service Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and innovative dessert concepts Handle food handling responsibilities with precision, including measuring ingredients and following recipes accurately Requirements Proven pastry experience in a professional kitchen or bakery setting, with a strong portfolio of decorated cakes and desserts Excellent cake decorating skills utilizing various techniques such as piping, fondant work, and airbrushing Solid knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience in food production, baking, and food preparation within the food industry or restaurant environment Strong knife skills for precise cutting and shaping of ingredients Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards Exceptional customer service skills to engage with clients and understand their dessert needs Familiarity with packaging techniques suitable for retail or catering purposes Kitchen experience that demonstrates versatility across baking, cooking, and food presentation Join us as a Pastry Chef to bring your culinary artistry to life!
