DESCRIPTION

Responsible for maintaining the hospital census to identify the facility's bed complement, patient's location, occupied beds and bed availability. Coordinates and controls the placement of all inpatients (urgent, emergent, and elective) between referring physicians, hospital personnel, and nursing. Responsible for registration, verification, collection of co-pays/deductibles, pre-certification or authorization of accounts, referrals to Financial Counseling for assistance in payment options. Flexible days/hours based on business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma required. Associates degree preferred. Related Patient Access experience preferred. Strong customer service experience required. Clerical/Billing experience preferred. PC experience required (Word/Excel.) Excellent verbal and written communication skills. $22.36 / $23.05
