Patient Authorization Specialist (RCM) Clearwater, FL (Onsite - 33759) $23-$24.00/HR Full-Time We are hiring a Patient Authorization Specialists to join a growing healthcare technology company focused on transforming patient recovery through innovative, in-home care solutions. • Verify and confirm patient demographics (name, address, DOB)
• Check insurance eligibility and benefits
• Obtain and confirm authorizations and referrals as required
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, Medicaid, OIG, and payer guidelines
• Assign and review CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes as needed
• Process and complete insurance verifications and prior authorizations accurately
• Obtain single case agreements when required
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather missing documentation
• Resolve claim rejections and resubmit as needed
• Support additional billing and RCM-related functions What We're Looking For
• Experience in eligibility, verification, and prior authorization (EVA) or similar RCM role
• Strong understanding of front-end revenue cycle processes
• Knowledge of CPT codes, payer guidelines, and insurance workflows
• Experience working in EMR/EHR systems
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills Work Environment
