The Certified Nurse Assistant performs selected patient care activities. The Certified Nurse Assistant is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and provides various patient care activities and non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient. Must be capable of physically assisting patients, dealing with patient emergencies, and working as a member of a clinical team. Qualifications for the job... Must be Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing on State of Alabama Registry; BCLS Certification. High school diploma or equivalent required. One to three years' experience in related field. Must possess organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills required in order to interact with resident, family, physicians and staff. Must have analytical, grammar/spelling, and computer skills. Must also be able to read and comprehend both written and verbal instruction.
