While Rockland County has plenty to offer, both the mountains and the beach are within a few hours' drive. The Patient Care Associate is responsible for performing assigned patient care tasks under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. The PCA assists with patient care as delegated by the RN and in according to hospital policies and procedures. The PCA carries out various clinical responsibilities as well as documentation of tasks and supports and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous Health Care experience required. Certified Nurse's Assistant, Certified Patient Care Technician, or currently enrolled in a nursing program highly preferred. Demonstrated experience and competence in Phlebotomy and EKG preferred. Monitor Technician experience preferred when it is as applicable for area of assignment. Full command of English Language. Sufficient physical ability and perceptive acuity to perform patient care functions. $23.34 per hour
WILLING TO TRAIN
Training class will be June 22 - June 30 from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Candidates must be able to attend.

Part Time, Days, 6:30am-3:00pm, Rotating weekdays, weekends and holidays
