Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between patients and medical providers, ensuring seamless coordination of appointments, treatments, and administrative support. Your proactive approach will contribute to a positive patient experience and efficient clinic operations. Duties Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal utilization of provider time and resources. Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify insurance information, and facilitate check-in procedures. Collect and update patient information accurately within electronic health record systems. Provide clear instructions to patients regarding treatment plans, follow-up care, and necessary documentation. Assist with medical administrative tasks such as billing support, insurance verification, and documentation management. Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care activities and ensure timely communication. Maintain a welcoming and organized front office environment that promotes efficiency and professionalism. Qualifications Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare administrative procedures. Proficiency in medical office software, electronic health records, and scheduling systems. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Office experience that includes managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in dental office administration is considered an asset but is not mandatory.
