Full Job Description Overview:
Midwest Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking an organized, friendly, and customer-focused Patient Care Coordinator to join our busy and growing dental office. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping patients, and values teamwork and excellent service. Dental experience is strongly preferred, as this role is essential in creating a smooth and positive patient experience from check-in to check-out. Schedule (days/hours): Mon/Tues 7:15am-4:30pm, Wed/Thurs 6:45am-4pm
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars efficiently Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with treatment estimates Answer phones and respond to patient questions Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Support office flow and communication between clinical and administrative teams Collect payments and assist with financial arrangements as needed
Qualifications:
Prior dental office experience preferred Experience with dental insurance verification and scheduling strongly preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to multitask in a busy office setting Experience with dental practice management software is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting
Compensation:
$18 - $21 per hour
