Job Description

Beit Paley Center for Mental Health Services The Beit Paley Center for Mental Health Services is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual with excellent customer service skills to support the office staff in our Outpatient Clinic.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors and respond to inquiries while providing exceptional customer service Assist patients with office-specific registration processes, including kiosk and computer-based registration as needed Accurately enter and update patient demographic and insurance information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system for billing, tracking, and documentation purposes Schedule and reschedule patient appointments efficiently in accordance with department and practice guidelines Collect, post, and reconcile patient payments accurately Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly; appropriately triage calls and refer to providers when necessary Respond to patient messages within the EMR inbox in a timely and professional manner Complete EMR work items including patient follow-ups, pre-registrations, referrals, insurance authorizations, and other administrative tasks as needed Scan and upload patient records into the EMR system Process faxes, incoming mail, and required paperwork Perform daily office closing procedures and reconciliation as required Maintain compliance with all federal regulations and organizational privacy policies, including HIPAA Perform additional administrative and clerical duties consistent with the needs of the office
Schedule & Location:
Full-time (40 hours per week) Primary work location: Middletown office Coverage at the Old Saybrook office as needed
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-430pm
Minimum Qualifications:
