This is more than a traditional administrative role, this position offers direct exposure to clinical workflows, physician communication, patient care coordination, and real-world healthcare operations. You will play a critical role in facilitating communication between patients, physicians, physician assistants, specialists, and external healthcare facilities. Position Overview As a Patient Service Representative, you will serve as a central communication hub between providers and patients while helping coordinate seamless patient care. This administrative role combines healthcare operations, patient communication, scheduling coordination, and clinical workflow support.

Clinical decision-making workflows Direct patient communication Care coordination across departments Medical administrative operations Provider support and patient advocacy Key Responsibilities Facilitate communication between MDs, PAs, and patients Manage patient messaging and in-basket workflows Coordinate patient care and specialty appointments Work with multiple departments to ensure timely scheduling Route and manage prescription refill requests appropriately Prepare and organize documents requiring provider signatures Process patient letters and administrative requests Assist with referral coordination and follow-up Support administrative and patient care coordination workflows Perform computer-based administrative tasks with accuracy Provide occasional face-to-face patient interaction and support What We're Looking For Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized with excellent multitasking abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered attitude Strong computer and administrative skills Ability to coordinate multiple workflows simultaneously Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail Interest in healthcare and patient care operations preferred Why Join
