Description The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check in as well as clinical support duties. This is a part-time (0.3) position working Monday 8:00am-4:30pm and Wednesday 8:00am-12:00pm out of our Edina location. Luong Plastic Surgery is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:
Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices Manage high volume of incoming/outgoing healthcare related phone calls and triage medical clinic phone queue Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the current practice management system, confirming with patient, clinics and other instructions, as needed Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments Chart preparation and management Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff Any and all other duties as assignedEducation and Experience Requirements:
High School diploma/GED or equivalent Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel Customer Service experience required Administrative or Medical Office experience preferredBenefits & Compensation:
Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package - to learn more clickhere. Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 8 or more hours per day). Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents. Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents. Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
