Patient Services Representative

Fast paced urgent care and family practice seeking a full time PSR. Shift hours are Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday coverage.

Job Duties:

Greeting patients at check-in with a kind and professional manner. Ensuring accuracy of patient information and insurance coverage. Collecting patient payments. Completing the check-out process; to include seeking patient feedback and scheduling necessary follow-up visits. Answering phones and interviewing patients to ensure appropriate visit scheduling. Clearly communicating with all office staff in a courteous manner that supports a cooperative team environment.

Ideal candidates will have:

Knowledge of basic medical terminology Strong computer skills Previous experience with an EMR system The ability to communicate in a professional manner and work in a team environment Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail Bi-Lingual Spanish or Russian a plus Ability to work evenings and occasional

Saturdays Requirements:

Minimum of 1-year experience in medical office setting or related healthcare field High School Diploma or equivalent Proof of Vaccination (Hep B, Covid-19, Flu)
