Job Description

Position Details The HR Payroll Administrator will support a variety of payroll and human resources functions, providing opportunities for professional growth and development. Serving as a key liaison between employees and management, this role plays a vital part in ensuring the HR department operates efficiently and effectively. While the position spans multiple HR areas, it primarily focuses on payroll-related responsibilities. The HR Payroll Administrator will also assist in guiding employees through HR processes and addressing inquiries related to company policies.
Expected Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 8:30am•5:00pm, occasional OT/weekend required by business needs.
Pay:
$28.00•$32.00/HR (D.O.E.)
Payroll/Benefit Responsibilities:
Administer payroll and assist with benefits administration, coordinating related activities with the Finance department and working alongside the HR Payroll Manager. Provide customer support for payroll inquiries, addressing employee questions and concerns. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures for payroll processing. Support employees and supervisors with timekeeping, training, payroll-related issues, and requests for payroll information. Conduct routine audits of payroll / timekeeping records to ensure compliance with internal reporting procedures. Process semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees including tax payments and related filings. Ensure accurate payroll records by confirming HR changes including insurance premiums for leaves of absences, loan payments, garnishments, and salary increases. Provide reports to managers as needed including CA Meal Notices, PTO, Overtime reports, etc. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures for payroll processing. Support employees and supervisors with timekeeping, training, payroll-related issues, and requests for payroll information. Administer benefit plans, enrollment and terminations. Action any tax notices from the state, payroll system, benefits etc.
Accounting Responsibilities:
Assist with vendor reports, invoices and reporting timely and accurately. Collecting cash and reporting to the accounting team of cashbox balance. Receiving and organizing mail, sending invoices to the AP team and action any HR correspondences
Human Resources Responsibilities:
Administer full-cycle A-Z in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, conducting screeners, scheduling interviews, and onboarding preparation. Conduct new hire orientation. Onboard new hire into the HRIS database. Maintain and update employee records on SharePoint and the HRIS databases with accuracy. Assist with the day-to-day HR operations, scheduling meetings, coordinating training sessions. Support the coordination of company events, employee engagement activities, recognition programs, gift ordering, and employee celebrations. Other administrative HR duties may be assigned as needed
