Job Description
Our team is seeking a Payroll Clerk to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals practice. In this role, you will support client engagements by processing payroll transactions, maintaining employee payroll records, assisting with timekeeping and payroll data entry, and helping resolve payroll-related discrepancies. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills, along with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments. This role helps clients maintain continuity in critical payroll functions and interim project support. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport payroll processing activities by entering, reviewing, and validating payroll data.
Audit timecards for accuracy, completeness, and proper approvals.
Follow up with managers and employees regarding missing, incomplete, or inaccurate timecard information.
Maintain payroll records and assist with updates to employee payroll information.
Research and help resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
Use Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs, to track payroll data, identify discrepancies, and prepare reports.
Perform high-volume data entry with speed and accuracy.
Respond to payroll-related inquiries with professionalism and strong customer service.
Support payroll deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Adapt quickly to new client systems, workflows, and payroll processes.
