Job Description Payroll Specialist A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented and systems-savvy professional to own payroll operations and serve as the internal subject matter expert for the platform. This is a direct hire, onsite opportunity.

Manufacturing Payroll Specialist Role:
This role sits at the intersection of payroll, accounting, and technology. The right person is equal parts payroll processor, system owner, and internal resource for the broader team. This is not a purely transactional payroll role. The expectation is someone who can run payroll accurately, maintain and optimize the platform, and support colleagues across departments in using the system effectively. Process weekly payroll for a sizeable workforce. Serve as the internal go-to for all things ERP including troubleshooting, user support, and system questions Manage system updates, enhancements, and vendor coordination including regular calls with the ERP team Develop and maintain SOPs and how-to documentation for system users Train and support staff across accounting, operations, and HR on ERP functionality Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, and system utilization Work cross-functionally to ensure the platform is being used to its full potentialPayroll Specialist Background Profile:
3-5+ years of payroll processing experience Strong understanding of payroll processing and compliance Proven ability to troubleshoot system issues and support end users Experience managing ERP updates or working closely with software vendors Background in manufacturing or a related industry preferred Comfortable documenting processes and training Proactive and solutions-oriented Bachelor's degree preferred, not requiredFeatures and Benefits:
