We have a position for a candidate who has a background in accounting and an interest in learning how to do investigative work. The position requires payroll/accounting experience, good communication skills, a valid driver's license, proficiency in business software and the ability to implement and use new technology. This position is 100% in person. It is not remote or hybrid.
Objective:
Investigating possible theft, fraud, and other irregularities.
Payroll/Accounting Responsibilities:
Collecting time sheet data and payroll information Entering data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs Calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, etc. Preparing and distributing income statements Responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns Performing account balance and payroll reconciliations Preparing financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes Skills and qualifications:
  • Preferred 3-5 years' experience
  • Creating in-depth investigative reports on a daily basis
