Description:
The Timekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate employee time and attendance records to support payroll and HR operations. This role ensures compliance with company policies and labor regulations while assisting employees and managers with timekeeping-related inquiries and corrections. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The associate will collaborate closely with Payroll and HR teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee work hours, leave balances, and attendance data.
Must Haves:
High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of experience in payroll, timekeeping, or HR administration Experience with timekeeping systems such as Kronos, ADP, Workday, or SAP Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Knowledge of payroll support and attendance tracking processes Day to
Day:
Monitor and maintain employee time and attendance records in the timekeeping system Review and audit time entries for accuracy and compliance with company policies Assist employees and managers with timekeeping corrections, approvals, and system-related questions Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to ensure accurate transfer of time data for payroll processing Generate and distribute timekeeping and attendance reports for management review Support onboarding and training related to timekeeping procedures and systems Identify and escalate timekeeping discrepancies, policy violations, or system issues Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive data
Plusses:
Experience with Workday timekeeping systems Experience supporting large multi-site organizations Knowledge of federal and state labor laws related to wage and hour compliance Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish Associate degree or higher
