PCA Assistant Farm Manager

A well-known and family-owned Central Valley Farming operation is looking to add a PCA Assistant Farm Manager to their team. The ideal candidate will be dependable, highly motivated, detail-oriented and ready to take on this dynamic role with a wide range of responsibilities supporting daily farm operations. Key Responsibilities Scout fields for pests, disease, and moisture levels Monitor crop health and irrigation needs (Schedule irrigation) Coordinate fertilizer applications and chemigation schedules Work with mechanics to identify and order necessary parts Coordinate spray applications and write spray mix recommendations Maintain accurate records of field activities and applications Operate and troubleshoot GPS systems and controllers for tractors and chemical equipment Key Qualifications PCA license preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work 5-6 days per week during peak seasons Proficient or willing to learn precision agriculture technology Must currently reside in the region and have a valid U.S. driver's license This position offers an opportunity to grow professionally while playing a key role in farm management and crop production.
