Job Description

Pediatric APRN for Marianna and Chipley areas! Northwest Florida Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate and motivated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our Pediatric team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents in a rural healthcare setting. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive pediatric care to our community. Qualifications Must have graduated from an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) A current Board of Nursing License to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state practicing A valid Board of Nursing License as a Registered Nurse in the state practicing Must maintain current BLS certification Current Florida APRN license Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification required or Family Health Nurse Practitioner with prior pediatric experience Prior pediatric clinic experience required Responsibilities Focuses on patient and family education and assists patients and their families in their efforts toward recovery and rehabilitation Monitors patient care and treatment Document all patient care within an electronic health record Respond to patient care inquiries throughout the day Increase patient engagement and satisfaction through integration of feedback from patients, management, and professional colleagues Relies on extensive experience and judgment Provide pediatric primary care including wellness visits, acute visits, and chronic disease management Diagnose, treat, and manage common pediatric conditions Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in accordance with state regulations Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and support teams to ensure continuity of care
Schedule & Location:
Clinic-based position. Primary coverage in Marianna and Chipley, with potential rotation as needed.
