Pediatric Dental Assistant

Shobe Pediatric Dentistry is an independently owned pediatric dental office seeking a DAII to join our awesome team! We are looking for an energetic team player with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and willing to learn and grow. The applicant should possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to ensure effective and courteous communication with patients in a fast-paced work environment. Full-time employees are offered a competitive compensation package including but not limited to medical insuranceand PTO. Radiology and coronal polishing certifications required . Knowledge of Dentrix software is preferred, but we will train the right individual. Job Duties would include, but are not limited to: Preparing examination and operatory rooms, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining a clean work environment for staff and patients. Assisting in updating and maintaining client dental records. Preparing patients for scheduled procedures, helping them feel comfortable, and providing patient health education to both children and parents. Taking diagnostic images, both x-rays and intraoral cameras, upon the request of the doctor. Performing routine dental cleanings, or more complicated procedures if warranted.
