We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and organized Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team. As a Pediatric Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our pediatric dentists and support staff to provide outstanding care to children. You'll assist in various clinical procedures, educate patients and parents, and maintain a clean, safe environment for all.Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during exams and treatment procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of the patient. Prepare and sterilize dental equipment and instruments. Take Digital dental X-rays as needed. (NoMad) Help manage patient flow and ensure appointments are kept on schedule. Educate patients and parents about oral hygiene, dental procedures, and care instructions. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment and patient progress. Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and complies with safety and infection control protocols. Assist with office duties such as scheduling appointments, taking phone calls, and other administrative tasks as needed.Qualifications:
Dental assisting certification preferred (CDA or RDA). Previous experience in pediatric dentistry.OCS N2O GA
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and safety protocols. Ability to interact with children in a friendly and calming manner. Strong communication skills, both with patients and team members. Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask. CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification).
