Pediatric Dental Receptionist

Pediatric Dental Receptionist City Beautiful Pediatric Dentistry is a modern, mom-owned, child-centered pediatric dental office located in the SoDo District of Orlando seeking an experienced full-time Pediatric Dental Receptionist. Our practice is built around compassionate, inclusive, and high-quality care in a calm, supportive, and fun environment for children and families. As a newer and growing practice, we are looking for someone who is excited to grow alongside our team long-term. We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys working with kids, values teamwork, communicates with warmth and professionalism, and takes pride in creating a positive patient experience from the moment families walk through our doors. We are especially passionate about meeting each child where they are and supporting children of all ages and abilities, including those with neurodivergence, sensory sensitivities, anxiety, complex medical needs, and other unique circumstances. Our front office team plays a vital role in helping families feel welcomed, understood, and supported throughout their experience in our office. Schedule Full-Time Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Responsibilities Welcome and check in patients and families in a warm, professional, and kid-friendly manner Manage scheduling, phones, emails, and daily front office flow efficiently Verify dental insurance benefits accurately and thoroughly Clearly explain insurance coverage and estimated out-of-pocket costs to parents and caregivers Present treatment plans and financial information in a compassionate and professional manner Maintain accurate patient records within dental practice management software Collaborate closely with our insurance and billing coordinator regarding claims and benefit information Help create a calm, organized, and supportive experience for children and families throughout their visits Work collaboratively with both front office and clinical team members to maintain a positive and cohesive office environment Qualifications Previous dental front desk experience preferred (pediatric experience is a strong plus) Applicants with strong medical front office experience may also be considered, especially those with pediatric experience Experience verifying dental insurance benefits is a strong plus, but individuals with experience verifying medical benefits may also be considered Strong communication skills are required for this role Exceptional customer service and phone communication skills are a MUST.
