Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into the heart of the 26/27 academic year supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based contract role located near Wilmington, DE. This position offers the rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse pediatric population, collaborating closely with educators and families to foster communication growth and academic success. Individuals with strong backgrounds in healthcare, pediatrics, and school-based SLP settings are encouraged to apply, and Clinical Fellows (CFY) will find excellent support for professional development.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Eligibility for or possession of SLP license in the state of practice SLP-CFY candidates are welcome and encouraged Strong foundation in pediatric speech-language evaluation and intervention Experience supporting students in school or healthcare environments preferred Excellent collaboration and communication skillsResponsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students from diverse backgrounds Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that support student progress Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide detailed documentation of findings and recommendations Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Offer consultative services and in-services for school staff regarding communication disorders Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team planning This contract role provides an array of benefits designed for traveling professionals, including weekly W2 pay, flexible health and life insurance plan options, access to 401(k) with company matching, continuing education reimbursements, and guaranteed hours so you can plan with confidence.
