Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide specialized services to students in both elementary and high school settings. This contract position involves delivering critical Extended School Year (ESY) SLP services, supporting communication development for bilingual students. The assignment may include up to three different school sites, allowing for a varied and dynamic experience working alongside dedicated education teams.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (CAA-ASHA) Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) State licensure as an SLP Experience in K-12 school settings, with a preference for those who have provided therapy in diverse, multicultural, or bilingual environments Proficiency with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices Bilingual abilities essential for meeting the needs of diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted bilingual SLP services for ESY program participants, following individualized education plans (IEPs) Serve students in both elementary and high school settings, potentially rotating among up to three locations Collaborate with educational staff, families, and caregivers to support communication goals Provide documentation, progress monitoring, and participate in team meetings as needed Attend the staff work day/planning day on May 29th (8:00 am - 11:00 am) Work ESY school dates June 1st through June 30th, with staff hours from 7:45 am to 12:00 pm (4.25 paid hours per day) This unique summer role offers the rewarding chance to create lasting change for students while gaining valuable school-based and bilingual practice.
