Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract opportunity serving schools in the Woonsocket, RI area as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist. This flexible, part-time role allows you to choose any combination of two days per week—Monday, Wednesday, or Friday—so you can balance your career with your other commitments. You'll work with students in a dynamic educational setting, providing essential support that helps children discover their voices and build their communication skills.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible state SLP license Experience working in school settings preferred Comfortable providing services via teletherapy as well as onsite Bilingual abilities required to better serve our diverse student population Open to CFs (Clinical Fellows) eager to develop their skills—CF supervision available Strong collaboration, communication, and adaptability skills SLPAs are not considered for this position
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to pediatric students in both individual and group formats Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district standards Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Integrate teletherapy tools as needed to reach students in innovative ways Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting processes This role offers a meaningful chance to make a difference as a trusted specialist alongside dedicated educators and families.
