Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist, making a critical difference in the lives of students through personalized support and innovative therapy approaches. Qualifications & Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Current state SLP licensure Experience or strong interest in working within school settings Skilled in pediatric SLP, with a background in diverse communication disorders Comfortable with both traditional and virtual therapy methods Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and families Conduct one-on-one and group sessions, adapting interventions to meet varied student needs Engage in teletherapy as required, utilizing technology to enhance access to services Maintain robust documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards Partner with faculty and support staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere Offer consultative support to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies
