Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students near Canton, MI as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This position is tailored for motivated professionals passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of children. With an ASAP start and the potential to continue into the fall, you'll enjoy a flexible work arrangement of 4-5 days per week (approximately 30 hours weekly), with options for part-time scheduling to fit your needs. You'll be a key resource for a manageable caseload of about 52 students, providing engaging therapy and fostering growth in their communication skills.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or eligibility to obtain Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Dedicated to evidence-based practice and student-centered care Possess or ability to obtain relevant state licensure
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and create treatment plans for students with various speech and language needs Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals Maintain accurate documentation for all services provided Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and team discussions Adapt therapy approaches to accommodate diverse learning styles
