Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful school-based contract position where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will have a direct impact on students' communication skills and confidence. You'll engage with a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students, covering a range of pediatric ages, to deliver individualized therapy—both in-person and via teletherapy. The role is full-time, offering 40 hours weekly over five days. In this dynamic setting, you'll collaborate with fellow educators and families, conducting evaluations, developing and implementing IEPs, writing comprehensive reports, and ensuring timely Medicaid billing documentation. These responsibilities play a vital role in supporting students' academic and personal growth. To thrive in this position, candidates should have: Valid certification as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Current GA Teaching Certificate SLP-CCC credentials; CFY considered Experience with pediatric populations Strong background in school settings or teletherapy Proficiency in conducting evaluations, therapy sessions, and documentation Organizational skills with attention to detail, especially with Medicaid billing Excellent communication and collaboration skills Core responsibilities include: Providing direct speech therapy services to students, tailored to IEP goals Conducting thorough speech and language evaluations and assessments Participating in meetings and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant documentation and reports Managing Medicaid billing and related paperwork Supporting student progress and family communication This contract opportunity lets you focus on delivering high-quality services in a collaborative, supportive environment.
