Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity making a direct impact as a full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist for the entire upcoming school year near scenic Falling Waters, WV. This contract role is ideal for passionate professionals excited to support pediatric students in a vibrant academic setting. As the school transitions from virtual services, your presence and expertise will be invaluable in fostering student growth and communication development. Your background should include experience with school-based speech-language therapy and a commitment to providing high-quality, face-to-face support. Whether you're an experienced SLP-CCC, a new grad completing your CFY, or even an SLPA with strong school-based practice, your skills will help students achieve their goals across the 2026-2027 academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligible CFY State licensure for SLP or SLPA required (or eligibility to obtain) Background in pediatrics and school environments highly preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills A dedication to supporting students' academic and social success
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services in person for K-12 students Conduct evaluations, develop individualized educational plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Document interventions and maintain compliance with state and school regulations Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture This role not only allows you to see students' growth firsthand but also provides the stability of a full school year contract in a supportive and engaging setting.
