Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a vibrant educational setting, making a difference in students' communication and learning journeys throughout the academic year. This is a contract opportunity near Federal Way, WA, with flexibility across the current, extended, and next school years (CSY, ESY, and NSY). You'll work 35 hours per week, collaborating with a dynamic team, and impacting a diverse pediatric caseload. Specific caseload details will be shared soon to match your experience and interest. Qualifications you'll bring: Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in Washington Minimum of two years of relevant experience preferred SLP certification (CCC or CFY welcome) Experience in pediatric, healthcare, and/or school settings Current Medicaid provider number, active CAQH profile, and credentialing with additional insurance companies Commitment to fostering growth in children of differing abilities and backgrounds In this role, your daily impact will include: Assessing students' communication abilities using standardized and informal tools Developing individualized education and therapy plans tailored to diverse pediatric needs Delivering engaging group and one-on-one interventions in accordance with IEPs Documenting progress, collaborating with multidisciplinary school staff and families Supporting students across various terms (CSY, ESY, NSY) for consistent developmental support Step into an environment that values your skills while offering opportunities for professional development and the fulfillment of helping children achieve meaningful milestones.
