Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year. Key Qualifications:
Current and active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license SC Educator Certification required Experience with pediatric populations in educational settings strongly preferred Skilled in conducting speech and language assessments Competence in developing individualized education plan (IEP) goals Background in delivering both group and one-on-one therapy across K-12 age groups Expertise in maintaining accurate documentation and therapy progress Strong communication and leadership skills for participating in or leading IEP meetings Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessment services for students with diverse needs Create individualized, evidence-based therapy plans with measurable goals Provide engaging, direct therapy in accordance with students' IEPs Collect and maintain thorough documentation of student progress and session notes Serve as an active member of IEP teams, sharing insights and leading meetings when appropriate Communicate regularly with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary team members Contribute to a positive, supportive, and inclusive school environment This full-time, contract role is based onsite, with 37.5 hours dedicated weekly to student growth and team collaboration. Travel time between sites is paid, and details on mileage reimbursement are available upon confirmation.
