Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple school sites near Irmo, SC. This role focuses on providing expert speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students from kindergarten through 8th grade. With a 37.5-hour workweek spread over five days, you will work closely with educational teams to foster students' communicative success.
Key Qualifications:
Valid South Carolina SLP license required Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication and organization skills Ability to travel between 2-3 nearby school locations as needed Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to K-8 students Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development and progress monitoring Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes Document sessions, maintain compliance, and track student progress Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and ongoing professional development
