Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role for the upcoming 26/27 school year supporting students across K-12 in a dynamic, contract-based position near Broadalbin, NY. This opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a diverse caseload, as well as Clinical Fellows—supervision is available to guide you through a successful CFY experience. This full-time role spans 37.5 hours each week, giving you the chance to make meaningful connections with children and adolescents while advancing your expertise in a supportive educational setting.
Qualifications & Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current license to practice as an SLP in New York, or eligibility to obtain Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CF candidates will be considered Experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy highly regarded Ability to work collaboratively with general and special education staff Strong skills in evaluation, intervention, and documentation Passion for working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to K-12 students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and speech/language goals Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, progress, and interventions Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed Supervise and mentor SLP Clinical Fellows, as appropriate This role is tailored for those eager to make a difference in students' educational journeys.
