Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Transform your expertise in speech-language pathology into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year. This assignment offers a supportive environment where you'll provide vital SLP services to elementary and middle school students. Make a lasting impact in the lives of young learners, working alongside passionate educators and helping students achieve their communication goals. Your role includes a full-time weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, supporting a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students. The school year runs from August 4, 2026, through May 28, 2027, giving you time to build strong therapeutic relationships and observe meaningful student progress.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility Previous experience in school or pediatric settings, or a strong interest in working with children Familiarity with IEP process and therapy documentation Excellent collaboration and communication skills Demonstrated ability to adapt strategies for diverse learners

Deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services for students with speech and language needs Develop, implement, and assess IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participate in meetings as needed Provide strategies for classroom teachers and support ongoing communication with families Contribute to a positive, student-centered school climate Elevate your career while helping children find their voices and succeed in the classroom.
