Full Job Description Department:
Speech TherapyAbout Us Uplift Therapy Center provides therapy services to infants, toddlers, and children in a supportive and family-centered environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist / Speech Therapist who is comfortable providing one-on-one therapy services both in the clinic and in clients' homes. This position is open to Clinical Fellows (CF) as well as licensed SLPs. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized and clinical assessment tools. Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and the care team. Establish measurable, patient-centered goals and collect data to track progress. Provide high-quality speech therapy interventions tailored to pediatric clients. Provide caregiver education and implement home programs to support carryover. Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, colleagues, and community partners. Maintain productivity expectations and session scheduling requirements. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluations, re-evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries. Assist with program development and participate in internal training opportunities. Stay informed of federal, state, and local regulations and professional standards. Adhere to all safety, ethical, confidentiality, and privacy requirements. Qualifications & Skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Current license issued by the California Board of Speech-Language Pathology (or eligible for licensure for CF applicants). Pediatric experience preferred (1+ year ideal). Bilingual skills preferred. Comfortable providing services in home, school, clinic, and community settings. Professional demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to clearly relay instructions and collaborate with all members of the care team. Must successfully complete background check and funding source requirements.
