Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving K-8th grade students. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with an estimated caseload of 50 students in a supportive school environment located in Talpa, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions for students in grades K-8. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide speech and language programs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed or certification status as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Experience working in pediatric or school settings preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, families, and school staff. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students.
