Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist. This role focuses on servicing an elementary student caseload of approximately 40-45, primarily consisting of inclusion students, with a handful presenting more complex needs. You'll be collaborating as part of a dedicated support team alongside another full-time SLP, who will be narrowly focused on the complex cases within the school, allowing you to concentrate mainly on inclusion-based interventions. Ideal candidates are passionate pediatric or school-based SLPs who thrive in collaborative settings and seek to make a meaningful impact within elementary education.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain licensure) Experience with school-aged children, especially in inclusive settings, is strongly valued Solid communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload, focusing on inclusion students while supporting some complex student needs Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and track progress Collaborate closely with school staff, teachers, and families to ensure student goals are met Participate actively in IEP meetings and ongoing student support planning Maintain timely documentation and compliance with school district and regulatory guidelines Imagine helping students discover their confidence and communication skills in a supportive, collaborative elementary setting.
