Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during a maternity leave position spanning from the beginning of the school year to winter break. This contract position focuses on delivering high-quality teletherapy and on-site speech services at an elementary school, providing essential support for approximately 60 students. You'll collaborate closely with educators and families, making a meaningful impact on young learners' growth and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Pediatric or school-based experience, including teletherapy or on-site support Open to SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellows (CFY) Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Comfort adapting interventions to diverse student needs and IEP goals Commitment to culturally responsive and evidence-based practices Key responsibilities: Conduct screenings, assessments, and direct therapy for a caseload of about 60 elementary students Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans targeting a range of speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families for comprehensive student support Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress reporting, contributing to IEP development and meetings Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to deliver flexible, engaging services Foster a positive learning environment and advocate for students' success This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work with a dedicated educational team in a supportive elementary school setting.
