Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic school-based environment as a Speech Language Pathologist for a full academic year contract. This full-time opportunity centers on engaging with students from PreK through 8th grade, making a genuine impact on young learners' communication development. You'll start in August and fulfill the contract through May, joining a supportive interdisciplinary team dedicated to student success.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience working in schools or pediatric settings preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and compliance Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and organization skills Commitment to fostering growth for diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize students' educational participation Participate in IEP meetings, document outcomes, and maintain thorough records Provide consultative support for classroom staff on strategies to enhance language development Manage a diverse caseload spanning early childhood through middle grades Adapt therapy approaches to suit students' unique needs and learning styles
