Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 public school setting located in Jefferson, ME. This contract role offers a meaningful opportunity to support pediatric students in their speech and language development under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and small-group speech therapy services in alignment with IEP goals Implement treatment plans targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills Monitor and document student progress accurately Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other related service providers Assist with IEP implementation and therapy service delivery Ensure compliance with district, state, and agency policies
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited SLPA program Active state SLPA license or registration Ability to work under both direct and indirect supervision of an SLP Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Experience in school-based settings preferred but not required Working with ProCare Therapy means access to consistent support and professional growth while making a positive impact on students' communication skills.
