Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students in grades K-8 as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year. This opportunity is based near Channahon, IL and offers the chance to make a lasting impact on pediatric populations within a dynamic school environment. Ideal candidates will bring direct school-based or pediatric SLP experience, but those with a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) background are encouraged to apply. Your expertise in evaluation, treatment planning, and therapy for a diverse range of communication disorders will be valued and supported.
Qualifications and Skills:
Active Illinois SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or working towards completion (CFY accepted) Previous experience in school settings or pediatrics preferred Strong clinical knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary staff, families, and administrators Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
