Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational setting where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can make a lasting impact on students' lives. This full-time contract role offers the chance to collaborate within a supportive school environment, delivering comprehensive speech therapy to a diverse student caseload. In this position, you'll engage in a wide range of responsibilities, from direct therapy to participation in IEP meetings, serving approximately 55 students across various age groups. Your work will foster communication development and educational access for those who need it most.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a School-based SLP Georgia Teaching Certificate SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or equivalent licensure Experience with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings highly valued Familiarity with school-based Medicaid billing documentation Proficiency with teletherapy platforms is beneficial Strong collaboration and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings Conduct evaluations, write comprehensive reports, and develop IEP goals Participate actively in meetings with team members, teachers, and families Record and maintain accurate Medicaid billing documentation as required Consult with staff to support student learning and generalization of communication skills Incorporate teletherapy methods as appropriate
Position Details:
