Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of children as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic school setting near Peachtree City, GA. This full-time opportunity is ideal for dedicated professionals with experience in pediatric and school-based care, including those skilled in teletherapy and healthcare environments. Utilize your expertise with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working 40 hours a week. You'll manage a caseload of approximately 55 students, providing essential speech therapy services that impact communication, learning, and overall well-being.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid certification as a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred; SLP-CFY candidates also welcome Georgia Teaching Certificate required Experience with pediatric, school, or teletherapy speech-language pathology Familiarity with Medicaid billing documentation Strong communication, evaluation, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted speech therapy to a diverse caseload of students in elementary through secondary grades Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify and support speech and language needs Participate in IEP meetings, providing assessment results and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and ensure thorough Medicaid billing documentation Design individualized therapy plans and implement evidence-based intervention strategies This position offers a supportive school environment and the opportunity to work closely with children, families, and educators.
