Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role working with pediatric populations as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time, in-person contract assignment near Harker Heights and Troy, TX. This opportunity offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' lives while collaborating with dedicated professionals in an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience in pediatric or school-based environments Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with educators, staff, and families Passion for supporting children's communication, language, and learning needs
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication challenges Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team strategies Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, interventions, and outcomes Communicate regularly with families and caregivers regarding student progress This full-time, in-person contract role allows you to build strong relationships with students and staff while advancing your professional skills in a supportive educational environment.
