Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year, starting just after Labor Day. You'll play an instrumental role in shaping student communication skills and guiding a dynamic team near Groveton, NH. This contract position offers the chance to make meaningful impacts throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Current Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (or eligibility) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates Strong pediatric background, ideally in school settings Experience conducting speech/language and communication evaluations Previous supervision of SLPAs (or readiness to mentor/support paraprofessionals) Excellent collaboration, documentation, and communication skillsPrimary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and contribute to eligibility/team meetings Supervise and mentor 2 dedicated SLPAs, supporting their daily activities and professional growth Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication needs Participate in ongoing IEP meetings, collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Document progress, maintain compliance with all federal and state education standards This is a unique chance to positively affect students while developing your leadership skills in a welcoming environment.
