Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a school-based role located in Phillips, ME. This opportunity involves providing direct and teletherapy services within an educational setting, supporting students across multiple schools on an itinerant caseload. The role emphasizes flexibility and delivering high-quality, student-centered therapy services in compliance with district policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy to pediatric students, utilizing both onsite and telespeech methods. Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and document progress using the district's designated system. Collaborate with educational and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive support. Participate in paid team meetings and utilize allocated indirect/admin time for documentation and planning. Provide supervision to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), if applicable. Adhere to all professional and state licensing requirements, including holding a valid Maine SLP license.Desired Qualifications:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology strongly preferred. Experience in school-based speech therapy, pediatrics, teletherapy, and healthcare settings. Familiarity with CFY supervision and working with SLPA roles. Competence with IEP systems and an understanding of school caseload/workload models. Demonstrated ability to work part-time or full-time hours flexibly with an itinerant schedule.Additional Details:
