Pediatrician•
Outpatient Pediatrics Practice Location:
Forest Park, GA Employment type: Full-time Compensation Base salary range: Approximately $175,000 for recent graduates Up to $230,000+ for experienced Board-Certified Pediatricians who is looking to take on a leadership role Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for infants, children, and adolescents Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions across a wide range of medical presentations Provide immunizations, preventive care, and developmental screenings for pediatric patients Educate families on health maintenance, nutrition, developmental milestones, wellness, and disease prevention strategies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate patient care with specialists such as endocrinology, cardiology, and others when required Manage both inpatient and outpatient pediatric cases, ensuring continuity of care through discharge planning, follow-ups, and ongoing treatment coordination Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively to document patient encounters and maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant medical records Stay current with advancements in pediatric medicine through ongoing clinical education, research involvement, and professional development Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support clinical programs to enhance patient outcomes and care standards Provide leadership in developing and implementing new clinical initiatives that promote collaborative, high-quality pediatric care Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited institution Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics Active Georgia medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
Preferred:
Minimum 3+ years of Pediatrics experience 10+ years experience for Lead Pediatrician consideration Leadership experience preferred for Lead role EMR/Epic experience preferred Strong communication and patient engagement skills Schedule Most providers work a 4-day work week: 3 days: 8:00 AM•5:00 PM 1 late day: 8:00 AM•7:00 PM Rotating Saturday coverage approximately once every 6 weeks Rotating call schedule approximately once every 9-10 weeks Nurse triage line handles first-level calls before escalation to on-call provider Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with matching Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Malpractice Coverage Supplemental Benefits (STD, AD&D, Critical Illness, Hospital Coverage) This is an excellent opportunity for a Pediatrician seeking long-term growth, leadership potential, strong compensation, and a balanced outpatient-focused schedule in a thriving pediatric practice environment.
